VX is a small and fast text editor and shell for the TeX programming language. "Visualizing" corresponds only to document editing process, but not to preview (as in WYSIWYG systems).

Because of TeX programming nature it is impossible to visualize the document preview immediately. So that the best way to simplify creation TeX document is to use such methods as syntax highlighting, folding, calltip techniques etc. Some of them are realized in VX

The main idea used in Visual TeX consists of using keystroke macro to simplify editing process.
